La Predicata - The Property

Nestled in the Amerino hills in the south-west corner of Umbria (the region, east of Tuscany) La Predicata is near the little historic town of Penna in Teverina, and overlooks the Tiber River Valley and the ancient hilltop town of Orte.  A magical place imbued with history - from the over 500 year old olive trees to the 350 year old original farm house to the beautiful countryside trod by the ancient Romans and Etruscans.  Although the original meaning of its name is lost in the annals of time, La Predicata, once a lowly farmer’s cottage, has been lovingly restored and given a new life.

La Predicata는 이탈리아의 중부 Umbria 지역 (Tuscany의 동남부 쪽 지방) 에 있는 Penna in Teverina라는 작고 오래된 마을에 위치하고 있습니다 - 로마에서 차로 약 1시간 반 거리-.  농장의 언덕 아래로 길게 뻗어있는 Tiber River Valley 와 그 넘어 고대 언덕 위에 세워진 Orte 라는 마을까지 탁 트인 광활한 풍경을 한눈에 내려다볼 수 있는 아름다운 Amerino 언덕에 자리 잡고 있습니다. 500살이 넘은 오랜 된 올리브 나무들에서부터 350년 된 농가를 재건한 아름다운 메인하우스와 게스트하우스, 집주변으로는 걸을 수 있는 고대 로마인과 에트루리아인이 밟았었던 아름다운 시골길에 이르기까지 역사가 가득한 마법의 장소라 할 수 있습니다. 그 이름의 원래 의미는 시간의 연대기에서 사라졌지만, 한때 비천한 농부의 보금자리였을 La Predicata는 조심스럽게 복원되어 새 삶을 살아오고 있습니다.
